Little J’s Interview on Living in Germany

Here comes little J’s. Let’s see how this goes.

** Decided to do interviews with the kids on their first impressions of Germany. I’ll try to update every month as they experience new things. I did these in no particular order with no questions in mind. I typed out the responses as they answered the questions.

We’ve been living in Germany for about ten days now. What are your first impressions of Germany?

I liked the castle and the other one. The other one is big.

What’s been your favorite part so far? Why?

Dad letting me go on his shoulders. Well I liked laying down in the fountain and swimming. We going to do that today.

What’s been your favorite food so far?

Schnitzel was very good and Daddy gave it to me. I like it so much.

Most difficult things about living in Germany?

Cleaning up.

Are you nervous about going to school? Why?

Excited. I really want to go to my birthday and get the doggie game. I saw something called climbing hexbugs. I put it in my wish list for my birthday.

What are you most excited about getting to do or try?

Going to the playgrounds. And going to the zoo. That will be so fun.

What do you think about living in a tiny apartment versus our big house?

I want to go back to our house. It’s to little for me.

What’s your favorite German word far?

Schnitzel. NEIN! NEIN! NEIN! NEIN!

Is there anything else you want to tell me about Germany?

Nothing else.
